“ My second time at Mi Casita. We had a large party of 9 for family birthdays. We had a reservation and were seated in a separate room in the back right away. Again the service was great! The staff is so friendly and helpful. Our food was amazing! We had sangria and birria empanadas to start, then ordered plates of fajitas, birria, carnitas, shrimp salad, chicken tortilla soup, asada fries. Always something new I look forward to trying each time we go. It's a must if you're in the area. Parking is easy - a lot and street parking in front of the restaurant. Easy to find. ”

“ We have been waiting to try Mi Casita for a while, and today we decided to go have lunch. We ordered tamales and they were divine. I had chicken tamales with tomatillo sauce, and my husband had one chicken and one pork. I loved how tender the masa was and the flavor of the chicken. Often times I have ordered tamales from other places and have been disappointed because of the dryness, these were heavenly. The food is like a warm hug from your grandma. I can't wait to try more dishes here! Also, I'll echo what others have said about the chips and salsa...OMG they are so good!! That salsa is amazing. “ I'm so happy! There was a restaurant in the area a LONG time ago that served machacas for breakfast. This is a shredded beef and egg dish that I really liked, but at some point that place moved and stopped serving it. I didn't realize that this wasn't a common dish to be found in local restaurants. I've been craving it since, and pretty much gave up on finding it again. Then I read about Mi Casita in a FB post, people raved about their food and friendly service. I checked out their website, and lo and behold, they had machacas available for ordering! Now granted, I think it's not even on their standard menu anymore, but I was able to put the order online and went to go pick up. I was greeted by the very friendly owner/manager, and I told her how excited I was about the machacas. She mentioned while they didn't have it on their standard menu anymore, she was glad I was able to get the order in and they still had the occasional customer order it. She even told me to please call her back sometime and let her know how I liked it! Anyhow, it was a cute restaurant too... felt very homey - I definitely want to dine-in sometime. Give this place a try, and try the machacas so they make it a regular item lol! ”
